Start your cycling adventure at Vasto San Salvo station. From here, head southeast, turning right into the first cross street on your left. Continue along Via Stazione for about 500 meters. On your right, you will find the exit to the SS 16 state road, which you will cross carefully using the available pedestrian and cycle crossings.
Continue until you reach the Hotel Dakar where you will find a pedestrian crossing. After crossing the SS 16, take a small side road next to the Hotel Perrozzi that leads you to the cycle path connecting San Salvo Marina with Vasto Marina.
Once you reach the cycle path, turn right and continue your journey to San Salvo Marina. Here you can enjoy the panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the beaches characterized by fine sand and blue waters.
As you cycle, you can enjoy the sea breeze and the coastal landscape. After about 5 kilometers, you will reach the Coastal Biotope and the Mediterranean Botanical Garden. This protected area is a true natural treasure, where you can admire a rich biodiversity of Mediterranean plants and unique coastal habitats. It’s an ideal place for a short break, where you can relax and perhaps take a few photos.
After exploring the Botanical Garden, continue along the seafront of San Salvo Marina. This section of the route, about 500 meters long, is perfect for enjoying the views of the sea and the sandy beaches. Finally, continue until you reach the San Salvo Marina Tourist Port. This modern port is well-equipped with numerous services for boaters and is a perfect place to end your bike ride. Here you can relax, perhaps enjoy an ice cream or a cold drink, and reflect on the wonderful day spent exploring the Abruzzese coast.
In total, the route covers about 5 km, making it a pleasant and accessible bike ride for everyone.
